The FB memories

Opened the book of faces this morning to see cake in the memories. Haha! That flippin' cake. And the voice inside says, "what doesn't break me, makes me..." Sigh. The explaination is simple. He KNEW I didn't make cakes; I'd explained my comfort zone, my knowledge, my desire was to never do so. But he tried to set me up for failure. That challenge was never supposed to be won. Something layered, that I didn't make.... and in a day... to be shared by people in the food industry who had an actual baker they used to get this cake from. Fuuuuuuk. But I did it. I obsessivly went on the hunt for a recipe; narrowed it down to three. Prayed as I made the one I hoped would work. one layer... two... and three. Holding my breath. I leveled, filled, stacked, and frosted. Packed the dang thing up and finally took a hesitant breath. Two hours later I got the text it was delicious! It took him that long to get into work and deliver it to the coworke...

It’s a win

Second day producing the same results with an entirely different team at a different location. Thinking I have the basis for a production theory. Gave the general outline to Bossman. But this could change several things. It requires a few things in regards to the team as well as buy in from a couple of teammates but other than that, it should be easliy integrated. A bit anxious to see the other KPI's because those will also be telling as to the right track.

I had started in the middle

The last chapter began in the middle.... and in true fashion this one is going to be chronologically out of order as well. Honestly, I'd forgotten about the blog. I mean, I remebered the poetry existed but forgot where I put it. And truth be told, there is more than one site. I'm ever the squirrel, storing pieces away for winter. I'm sure a therapist would say its a reault of PTSD and abuse and maybe that has some truth to it. The writings were on several sites and not all of them have made it to 2023, so maybe partnof it is diversifying. Anyhow picking this back up... and running with it.
